Using Your Gifts to Serve Others
Every one of us has been given something to offer: a talent, a skill, a kind of care, a voice. These gifts aren\'t meant to be kept to ourselves. They find their fullest meaning when we use them to bless other people.
Gifts come in many forms
Some people sing, some teach, some cook, some listen, some organize, some encourage. No gift is too small or too ordinary. Often the quiet ones, like patience and hospitality, make the biggest difference.
Finding yours
- Notice what comes naturally to you and what people often thank you for.
- Pay attention to what you enjoy doing even when it takes effort.
- Ask people who know you well what they see in you.
- Try serving in small ways and see where you feel most alive.
Serve with humility
Gifts are not a measure of our worth, and they\'re not for comparison. They are a trust, meant to be used with love and gratitude.
Whatever you\'ve been given, offer it freely. You may never know how far it reaches.
